CADIGIRL85
]OK so i bought a 1996 seville sts and it has 190.000 miles i had it 5 days and one day i started it put it in reverse and then to drive and no drive no 1,2,and no reverse. So I had it towed and a couple of people that have looked at it for me say, the tranny fluid is the right color and smell, the linkage is fine, its not the shift cable, but one thing noticed was that the tranny fluid level was to the top and the car had been sitting in the cold for about a week now. So the tranny fluid was drained and the bottom of the pan didnt have hardly any of the metal shavings in it. And the filters looked ok. So now i guess were gonna check the shift solenoid only thing is the book dont get into that much detail about once the pan comes down .WHAT do YOU think I should do now and can someone please send me some instructions for dummies on this topic.
