atibpag
I have a 2004 SRX 4.6 Liter. There is a terrible misfire and check engine light flashes. This seems to go away about 2000rpm or when car is driven while still cold. The auto parts store said the code was a random misfire on 7 and the engine was running lean. My gas mileage reduced to under 14mpg since this started occurring. Can anyone give me a possible solution or somewhere to start? Thanks. Texas Jim
If it is plug 7...have you changed it or checked it??
JimD
You (we) could avoid a lot of guessing about sparking bolts or lean condition if we had the specific "P" code(s). Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !

Texas Jim
Changed all plugs. No difference. Paul Paul, Can you go back by the parts store and let them pull the codes again?? This time.. write down ALL the codes that show on the code reader. It could be so many different things... We really need the codes to be able to have a good starting point om diagnosis.
