BodybyFisher
Disconnect everything from the engine, including electrical conduits, remove the radiator, set the compressor aside, detach the struts and axles, rest the carriage on heavy duty jack stands and lift the cars body off the engine carriage to start. Remove the engine from the transmission, put the engine on an engine stand, remove the crossover, intake, timing chains after marking them Once you have the heads off, you must timesert the block before reinstalling the NEW head bolts We can post directions as to how to time the engine along with photos of the index marks This is an advanced job, that should only be tackled by experienced mechanics Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
