heitzman
Hello again everyone, this morning I had a PO174 code pop up on my 1996 Deville. I was needing to know what is the cause of this. I know it means Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2, I have checked all vacume lines and I have checked the air filter. What do I need to do next. Thanks Something is affection only bank 2, without causing a P030x code from a specific cylinder. You might snug down the intake manifold gasket Besides getting too much air, a lean condition can be caused by too little fuel, but its only affecting that bank, hmmmm And its affecting that bank without causing a misfire, How is the engine idling? If you gun it how does it respond? heitzman
No misfire, maybe a slight increase in idle (625-650) in gear and excelleration is good. Thanks
