kcd1184 Posted October 1, 2004 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Well, I put a little glob of sealant on the whistle spot and as intended, no more whistle. I'll fix the leak correctly this winter. I did create another problem though when i ripped both tube ports on the rubber vacuum manifold that fits down in the top of the throttle body. I was trying to make some room to apply the goop. The tubes still seal up on the ends but I will have to replace the rubber vacuum manifold. I have to buy the whole assembly.It's called an Evaporator Emission Cannister Purge Harness. Oh well... If it tore that easy it must have needed to be replaced.
