no reverse and slips in D

I just finished putting a new solenoid kit in and now I have no reverse and the car is slipping in all drive gears. I checked and the only code showing is p024.

If you had reverse before you replaced the solenoids, then you can only come to one conclusion, sSomething didn't get assembled correctly.

Not having a good knowledge of the transmission, I can only think of the easy things to screw up, and that is the "balls".

I did my solenoids last year, and needed the manual to get all the balls back in the correct location.

This may not be you problem, however something "isn't right".

There is only one other thing I can think of other than the check balls being in the wrong place, and that is that the Lo/Reverse band did not get slid into the proper position.

hey the first time i installed the solenoids i had the same problem...wouldnt go into any gear...so i got back under the car an did everything all over again, making sure the check balls were in the right place and stayed there
