navion
The heater A/C blower quits occasionally. I have to open the hood and with the engine running, I unplug it, wait a few seconds and plug it back in and it is back working again. However, after a couple of trips, it does it again. The motor sounds fine when it is running, so it is apparently not a bearing problem. When it works, it speeds up and down as normal to maintain the set temperature. I am stumped has anyone had this kind of gremlin before? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Britt Britt
Ranger
I think the '94's have a blower control module (which is probably what you are unplugging). If it does, it is most likely failing.
KevinW
Are any of the spark leads within one inch of the blower housing? ___________________________________________________
navion
Nope, Sparkplug leads are all in factory loom and are all Delco leads. Thanks, Britt Britt
anengineer
My blower motor began as intermittant failure. Over a period of a few months it failed entirely. Replaced with new one.
