PAUL T Posted August 22, 2004 Report Share Posted August 22, 2004 I have had cold starting problems for a while but today while accelerating lightly I had a lot of missing or studdering. WOT seems to be o.k. but while gently accelerating I get the miss even after warm up. I checked for codes but there are not any. I am suspecting a leaky fuel injector. Gas mileage is fine 20 to 22.8 MPG. Spark plugs have not been changed or wires since I have owned it from 61000 to 112500 miles. It idles fine. Any other suggestions to check. PAUL T Posted August 28, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 I fixed it!! New plugs and wires for the 94 Concours did the trick. Cold starting is better also. Runs like a top now, so I am back to running it like I stole it. You gotta keep the carbon from building up. The next project for her is a new a/c compressor. I may wait until spring for that.
