tdcrash63
Just bought a 99 SeVille with 49000 miles. Paid 6500 for It got it home. Had to change valve cover gaskets they were dripping oil on the exhaust manifold. Changed tranny oil, engine oil and drained and refilled coolant. Got it together and it had a miss that wasnt there before. Ohmed out the wires, ok. Pulled the plugs and found no 1 was black in color. Swapped it with 4 and tried it again. Miss was gone. Replaced all the plugs engine seems to run fine now. After viewing all these posts I think I overpaid, any opinions. Maybe bought a lemon
Bruce Nunnally
Congrats on the Seville. Sounds like it had an issue but you fixed it, so good on that. The plug wires on the Northstar can be sensitive to exact routing, so it is good to use OEM plug wires and exactly the factory OEM routing.
