Help needed 1971 hazardswitch

Hi all,

So today i was going to replace my ignitionswitch on my 1971 Cadillac Eldorado, this ment that during the disassemble i had to remove the hazardswitch.

Well i changed the lock and re assembled the whole thing, but now my hazardswith doesn't work, i can pull it out and push it in as it should, but the lights doesn't come on.

So now i'm hoping you guys can help me with my problem.

Have you checked to make sure the contacts were installed properly? Somesimes, they get bent during installation and the hazzard switch mechanism won't close the contacts properly.
