Tripleshoe
Was told that the AC or ACM? must be reprogramed using the radio when the AC compressor was replaced. Can't find any previous Blog on this is this true ? How ? Thanks, T
KHE
The low refrigerant code must be cleared prior to charging the system with refrigerant but there is nothing to "reprogram" on the ACM. Enter diagnostics by pressing and holding the OFF and WARMER or PASSENGER WARMER buttons on the climate control panel and when the system displays PCM? push the fan down until ACM? is displayed. Then push the fan up button and the system will display ACM CODES?, push the fan up button and the ACM codes will be displayed followed by CLEAR ACM CODES? Press the fan up button and ACM CODES CLEARED will be displayed. You can now charge the system with refrigerant. Make sure to draw a deep vacuum for at least 30 minutes (45-60 minutes is better) before charging the refrigerant into the vacuum.
