papaearle Posted June 29, 2010 Report Share Posted June 29, 2010 hi guys first i'm a new member so i would like to say hi to everyone.need help i removed my intake on1996 concours and the number one hole has rust mark on valve should i try for repair or buy new head money is very limited the engine has only 12000 kilometers, a little background on what was happening , the engine would run great for 2 hours then it would start heating, no water in oil, i thought it was head gasket problem until i seen the rust which would indicate a crack in valve guide ??? all help would be greatly appreciated thanks papaearle Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
