Need an updated XLR chassis for your 1961 Cadillac?

Recommended Posts

The last project car blows me away. They hope to take it to a number of car shows, including the famous Detroit Autorama, when it is finished in a couple of years. This project car recipe goes something like this: Take one 1961 Cadillac Series 62 two-door hardtop; remove the frame and engine and add a 2008 Cadillac XLR-V chassis and power train; remove all excess chrome (shaving) and other decoration (like windshield wipers).

Mix in weeks of hard work, and you will end up with one heck of a custom show car called Big Bad VooDoo Caddy. Naturally, when it is finished we want it to come to the Krasl Concours.
