Today, Karl Stracke, the automaker's vice president of global engineering, told Inside Line that a Lambda-based Cadillac crossover is absolutely a go.

Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia are large cross-over (minivans) vehicles that have been selling well. They offer greater fuel economy while still carrying a lot of people or stuff. Replacing the Escalade with this type of vehicle would do a lot to pull up the MPG score for that line.
