Bruce Nunnally Posted May 12, 2010 Report Share Posted May 12, 2010 If President Obama's trip to Buffalo is in any way true to form, the presidential limousine- nicknamed "The Beast" - will arrive aboard a C-130 today, and be stored at Buffalo Niagara International airport for use tomorrow. Typically, the White House flies in two limos, one day before any presidential visit, according to Gregg Merksamer, a limo historian and expert on "professional cars"-- car geek speak for hearses, ambulances and limos. The Obama limo was unveiled at his inauguration and is even larger and more fortified than the previous one used by President George W. Bush Merksamer says.
