KHE
Take the serpentine belt off and attempt to turn the A/C clutch by hand. Be sure not to just spin the pulley - grip the clutch face and attempt to turn the clutch. Some resistance will be normal but you should be able to turn it by hand. If you can't budge the clutch, it's time for a new compressor. If compressor replacement is required, I would pull the orifice tube and inspect the screen. If you find metal shavings, a total system flush is in order as well as a new accumulator. KevinW
You should be able to turn the compressor clutch (to check if the internals are seized) without having to remove the drive belt. ___________________________________________________
