rsrxc700
95 Seville Got in today and noticed a terrible smell, like burnt rubber, and also hear a 'clicking or popping' sound coming from the blower or plenum area. I turn off the climate control and it stops. Everything was fine yesterday. Any ideas where to start? Thanks! RSR

rsrxc700
Sure enough, it was the blower motor. Was not as bad as I thought to get it out, but I was unable to get the bottom bolt back in with the new one. My hands are not small enough to reach down there. KHE
Did your new motor have the fiberglass/foil heat shield? Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71
rsrxc700
I just got a used one from auto recyclers for $50 w/ 6mo warranty. I know it could go at any time, but I did not want to wait to order a new one, plus I got $150 in my pocket! RSR
