SoCalCTS
Hi all new here- Im going to be changing out my girlfriends rear pads on her '05 CTS (v6) and wondered if there were any gotchas or things to be aware of on this car. I have done about 50 or so brake pads changes so Im not new to it, just on this car. If anyone has a PDF of the service manual , etc, Id be willing to take a look at that as well. thanks Doug
Bruce Nunnally
Doug, there is a photoessay on Sal's site here: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadil...-procedure.html Be sure to read through the replies, as they have additional advice. But if you will shoot some photos as you go we can have a new article here on Caddyinfo also Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube

Bruce Nunnally
There is a small arrow or diamond in the side skirt that indicates where to place the screw jack. I put the floor jack just behind that along the rail, which seems quite solid. Just be sure you are on the metal and not the trim of course.
