The event will include the industry's top executives explaining how they will compete and survive in an industry preparing for new opportunities, economic recovery and growth. Opening Tuesday afternoon, January 12, which is also the second and final day of media preview for the 2010 NAIAS, the Automotive News World Congress will feature Sergio Marchionne, Chief Executive Officer, Chrylser LLC. Other speakers will include top executives from GM, Ford, Honda, and Toyota. Offering a new, tighter format, the event will provide attendees access to the most influential and powerful automotive industry leaders, content and contacts, and a pass to visit the auto show on Thursday, January 14th before it opens to the public. Registration also includes access to the presentation of the Polk Loyalty Awards on Tuesday evening and the presentation of the BorgWarner owner and driver trophies, as well as the Automotive News/PricewaterhouseCoopers Shareholder Value Awards on Wednesday evening.
