FlamingGoatBalls
My front pads a are worn and my brake fluid is low. Im not sure if ive got a leak or if its because my pads are work but im gettin a warning light. Thats not the one the worrys me. What worrys me is the ABS light and the traction contol off message. Could they be related to my low fluid or bad pads?
Cupillac
Yes, that could be the problem. I had low brake fluid and some corroding brake lines that displayed both those messages. FlamingGoatBalls
The car seems fine untill i step on the gas then the light light right up. Maybe the low fluid level is tripping the sensor? But would a low brake fluid level set off ABS?
Ranger
I had that problem on a '92 Deville. I ignored it because I could not find the problem (figured I lived without ABS you most of my life, I could live without it then). Six months latter , right front wheel bearing starts growling. Replaced it and problem solved. The wheel speed sensor is intergral with the hub and bearing assembly and if it goes bad will disable the ABS & TC as they are dependent on wheel speed sensors. FlamingGoatBalls
Its funny that you say that bc the front left has already been replaced. They said they right needed to be replaced to but I figured they were blowing smoke. Ive been driving it for a few years now....maybe its time?
