Bruce Nunnally
Craig's List: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/1455698309.html I don't want to sell this car, but I have to. This is a red 1973 Cadillac Eldorado with a white top convertible. New parts, runs great. I invested $15K into this car, but I am letting it go for $7825. Don't let this deal pass you up!!! Please call me, Sam @ [see ad]. I will consider a foreign trade, let me know what you have. The Fleetwood Eldorado was restyled for 1973 from stem to stern. Cadillac sold 9,315 of them in convertible form like this one in 1973. Cadillac sold a total of 304K cars that year. The Cadillac Eldorado was chosen as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race in 1973. The GM Photostore has this image of a 73 Pace Car: The powertrain carried over from 1972 and was the 500 cubic inch OHV V8 making 235 net hp. The convertible weighted 5,131 lbs. 0-60 mph time would probably be around 10.5sec. The Cadillac 500 cubic inch engine can be modded to make a lot more hp, but the car will still have 5K lbs to haul. Interestingly, the NEW base price for this model was $7,681, so the asking price here is historically accurate . Unfortunate photos of the advertised car for sale; maybe from a camera phone?
