hog1340
Hi all I have a 95 Seville SLS. I bought it after the car sat for about a year, it was only drive about 1500 miles the 3 years before. The car starts and runs fine, but the ignition key is stiff otr tight going into and coming out of the ignition. It hasn't caused a problem yet, but I would like to know whar i could lube it up with? The key has the resistor on it, so I don't just want to spray some lube or even hit it with some graphite until I am sure no damage will occure. Any ideas? Bruce Nunnally
Logan has said that it is okay to use WD40. Spray the key, run it into the ignition tumbler, wipe it off on a clean cloth (to help clean stuff out). Repeat.
