Bruce Nunnally Posted October 26, 2009 Report Share Posted October 26, 2009 October 25, 2009 Detroit, Mich. - Chevrolet received nearly 1,800 entries in the first four hours of its public online contest to name the distinctive exterior color of the Volt extended-range electric vehicle, which is described as silver with an emerald hue. There were a total of about 6,400 entries submitted and over 13,700 unique visitors to the contest site -- www.chevroletvoltage.com – in the first three days. Three finalists of the contest, which opened Thursday, will be flown to Los Angeles to compete for a chance to be among the first to test-drive a pre-production Volt.
