bajaboatn
its got about 130k miles runs good shifts fine. fluid looks good and is at proper level. if the car sits for about on hour or two or more it is slow going into first gear. it can be 110 degrees outside sitting in the sun and it will do this. Meaning the car/transmission hasnt really cooled off much. If I start the car and let it sit running for about 10 seconds, it will shift omtp gear fine. Same with reverse as it is with going into first gear. Other then that the transmission doesnt slip at all after that. Any ideas? BodybyFisher
We had a member have the same problem and he had a bad pump. Mine will do this in the cold weather but since I stopped the leak and keep the fluid at the correct level I dont get it anymore. I would change the fluid and filters first, when was that done last? Make sure you use the correct pan seal, dont use a CORK gasket its a seal.
