tune-up

Recommended Posts

Very easy, replace the following

Ignition wires, use AC Delco, dont use dielectric grease

Spark Plugs, use stock platinum AC DELCO, gap per lable under hood, use proper torque to tighten

Fuel Filter

Clean MAF

Clean Coil Towers

Air Filter

PCV Valve

Clean Throttle Body

Pull EGR and clean, replace gasket (not mandatory, can do as necessary)

Use can of Techron per instructions

Drop Tranny Pan, change filters and fluid, replace with STOCK pan seal

I said to drop tranny pan because the original tune-up typically goes 75,000 to 100,000 at which time the tranny needs service

Well thanks, welcome aboard.

I spend a lot of time here, and have a 96 Deville that needs LOTS of maintenance, so it all equates to experience gained,

We have a ton of talented and experienced people here, let us know if we can help
