BodybyFisher
Very easy, replace the following Ignition wires, use AC Delco, dont use dielectric grease Spark Plugs, use stock platinum AC DELCO, gap per lable under hood, use proper torque to tighten Fuel Filter Clean MAF Clean Coil Towers Air Filter PCV Valve Clean Throttle Body Pull EGR and clean, replace gasket (not mandatory, can do as necessary) Use can of Techron per instructions Drop Tranny Pan, change filters and fluid, replace with STOCK pan seal I said to drop tranny pan because the original tune-up typically goes 75,000 to 100,000 at which time the tranny needs service Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
RaechelParker
Very nice post with a ton of informative information. I really appreciate the fact that you approach these topics from a stand point of knowledge and information instead of the typical “I think” mentality that you see so much on the internet these days.
