Cadillac Jim
Joanez -- this should be included in your existing thread. Multiple threads for the same problem complicate reading the Forum. Also, Private Messages don't help because they start a bunch of PM threads that no one else sees. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. MAC
Do not understand this "Correction from my Dealer..."Needs Cradle, Rack and Pinion nuts broken inside cradle It means the engine cradle needs to be replaced. It will cost over $400 just for the cradle. If the cradle is rusted out and its integrity is compromised, then I can see replacing it. However, if the only problem is a broken rack bold that could be extracted, then it would be a waste of money to buy a new engine cradle. You should find out specifically why the dealer says the cradle needs to be replaced.
