simplyrob
I have an intermittent diffuculty in starting. I thought it was the battery, but I still have the same problem. I have read alot about the FPR but do not know where it is located. Am I on the right track? Or should I be checking something else?
KHE
Is the car difficult to start when the engine is hot or when the engine is cold? That information will help in the diagnostics. To answer your question, the FPR is on the fuel rail - you will need to remove the top cover on the engine - four acorn nuts and it lifts off. Once it does start I can turn it off and it has so far started right up.
