pyrosteve
I would like to eventually supercharge or install a turbo, but want to ensure engine components will be able to withstand the additional stress of these upgrades. Also would like to know of anyone that has done this that might be able to give me some pionters. What would be the most efficient way to approach this? There are not a lot of aftermarket parts available for the Northstar. That said, Mark turbo charged his 99 STS, it was so powerful he was burning out the transmission. The tranny can only handle so much power. See this video, and search Mark's threads, you will find his name and profile at the following link http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=16065 Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
