johro8
Hi everybody I have a -99 sts... I know that the gearbox does not like to roll in neutral when the motor is of beacuse it gets no lubrication! But is there a problem to do it when the motor i going? I have long hill that i drive down and i think i would save fuel to just roll down it... I know that the fuelconsumtion is less when you enginebrake but then i would have to give gas half way down! //Roger
KHE
If the engine is running, the trans fluid will be circulating - you won't cause any damage shifting into neutral and coasting down the hill.
