difference between 97 and 98 STS?

Hi there

In 1998 thera was an upgrade on the STS, can anyone tell me what was upgraded?

Any easy ways to se the diference?

Im buying a car from late 97 and is wondering if its the 98 model.

The 1998 to 2004 Seville models are 'very different' from earlier years. Mnay systems were 'modernized'.

Any easy ways to se the diference?
Look at the decals on the rear surface of the LF door. A car with a MFG date betweeen ~~August, 1997 and ~~June, 1998 will be a 1998 model.

The exterior clues/differences are obvious.

There was a platform change for the STS in model year 1998. That's the unibody, suspension, etc. etc.etc. It's a different car.
