Bruce Nunnally
Motor Trend forecasting that the smaller-than-a-CTS Alpha architecture is now indefinitely on hold, and Cadillac will get an epsilon-II variant priced below the CTS at $30-35K. The Alpha architecture was to be a longer version of the Kappa convertibles, yielding a sweet RWD performance platform smaller than a CTS but bigger than the Kappas to compete head-on with the smaller M3 (the CTS is M5-sized). The Epsilon II cars like Buick Lacrosse and Opel Insignia are roughly the same size (wheelbase) and weight as a CTS, so maybe this makes more sense to marketeers than to me. The Epsilon II cars are FWD or AWD. [Motor Trend] Bruce 2016 Cadillac ATS-V gray/black Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
