forklifttech
Yesterday while driving on highway after hitting a pothole (not that big) the whole car jumped left and made a horriable popping noise like the frame hit the ground. Now any time I make a left turn I hear that noise. Service ride control also came on right after it happened. Checked codes and have S038(valve short or open?), S072(left rear accell), and S073(right rear accell) all current. Any help would be appriciated as I no longer fell it is safe to drive!! Bruce Nunnally
Seems like an excellent reason to put the Cadillac up on ramps and check it and see what is happening. forklifttech
Seems like an excellent reason to put the Cadillac up on ramps and check it and see what is happening. I did that this weekend. Found hole in air line to right shock. Everything else checked ok. Once repaired code S038 went away. But it still has the accellerometer codes and makes a noise in left turns. If at all possiable can you tell me where the accellerometers are located and how to test?
