Leftlanenews.com is reporting:

Sources within the automaker now tell us that this 2012 model year Cadillac sedan will in fact be riding on long-wheel-base version of the Epsilon II chassis, as was recently rumored. This of course means the new Cadillac would be front-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive sedan and not rear-wheel-drive as many had hoped.

Wikipedia notes on Epsilon II:

A new version of the Epsilon, dubbed Epsilon II, debuted in 2008. It is adaptable for front and all-wheel drive applications.

Current Vehicles built on Epsilon II:

* 2009 Buick Regal (China Only for '09-'10)

* 2009 Opel Insignia

Concept vehicles built on Epsilon II:

* 2007 Opel GTC

The Epsilon II may be used in the following vehicles:

* 2010 Buick LaCrosse

* Future Saab 9-5

* Future Chevy Impala

* Future Chevy Malibu
