DaveCarter
Hey caddy experts....is there a way from the VIN number to tell what equipment and options were delivered on a particular vehicle? I bought a used 2003 Seville and it looks like the radio was changed and so forth, so would like to be able to identify what the original equipment is supposed to be. Thanks in advance, Dave
Cadillac Jim
There is an option label in the spare tire compartment that lists the factory options. Some options are installed at the dealer before delivery, and some of these may include options that are normally installed at the factory such as sunroof. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. DaveCarter
Jim, I pulled the spare tire lid and have the label that say's service parts identification but it has a list of 3 character codes. Is there a cross reference available somewhere where I can match the code to the item?
DaveCarter
I found a GM RPO lookup tool: http://cadillacfaq.com/rpo/index.php Not sure I understand some of them, such as "Package Option 02" or "Wheels Chrome Var 1".
