nick2nd
I operned my trunk this morning and now it won't close. I beleive that the motor is down. How do I get the motor up so it can close. Is it a fuse problem or something else? Thanks
Cadillac Jim
It's kind of hard to tell from here for sure. Usually it's the switch, particularly if you park outside. Be careful poking at it. I would start with some WD-40 on the lower latch, and poke at the switch with a pencil to see if it's stuck down. If that doesn't do it, check the fuses in the trunk fuse block. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
