davedog
Hey! i'm considering installing an amp and some subs in my truck.... got it all figured out but where to run the 4 gauge power wire. I need to know where i could easily get it through the firewall, preferably on the passanger side (because it's the same side as the battery). I have a 1992 Eldorado Touring Coup. Cupillac
Not to sure about passenger side, but I ran mine from the battery up around the motor and down by the brake pedal there was an opening from the firewall. KenD
I ran my 4 gage wire on the passenger side through the floor and then up the engine by my condenser and to the battery. I couldn't find any place on my firewall that didn't result in turning my hands into hamburger. 1994 STS Pearl White 260,000 KM (163,000 miles) <img src="http://img45.photobucket.com/albums/v137/caesar/caddycaesar.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" />

lacseville
ha ha yeh, make your own hole where you want it. look for a place closer to the bottom of the passenger side engine bay. use a rubber gromet tho, so you don't ground out!
Willie Hank
I did the same thing as KenD, go through the floorboard on the passenger side, then take it doen the side of the car under the floor trim. Use some RTV to affix it to the floorboard bulkhead to protect from chafing.
Romey-Rome
Where there's a harness going in on the pass. side, below that you have a good 3"x3" square area to work with. I had to pull the a lot of stuff out from behind the dash, but once you get it out it's quite spacious in there to get a drill in. And yeh, rubber gromet...use it. 98Concours
I just installed a subwoofer in my 90Seville today and ran the wire thru the firewall where the hood release cable goes thru. I poked a hanger from the engine side, then taped the wire to the hanger and pulled it thru. Pretty simple. I then ran the wire across the back side of the strut tower brace, then along the fender straight to the battery.
