Marika
just got the results back for the second oil sample for the '08 Impala. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.
rek
"...and by the time you get to 10,000 miles on the oil..." "Stay at 3,500 miles on the oil for now." Confuse me, but how can you stay at 3,500 miles on the oil for now, and get to 10,000 miles on the oil? Does your Impala have an OLM? rek
Marika
"...and by the time you get to 10,000 miles on the oil..." "Stay at 3,500 miles on the oil for now." Confuse me, but how can you stay at 3,500 miles on the oil for now, and get to 10,000 miles on the oil? Does your Impala have an OLM? I have no idea what an OLM is so I couldn't tell you if the Impala has it. "Stay at 3,500 miles on the oil for now" means, I've been changing the oil at about 3,500 mile intervals and the lab technician is advising that I stick to that schedule for now. This second oil sample was taken at 6,969 miles so all the technician is saying is that once the engine gets to 10,000 miles I should find that it is mostly broken in. He's referring to the future. Actually, I just figured out what OLM is, Oil Life Management and yes, the Impala has it. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans. rek
OK, I get it. It must have been A Momentary Lapse of Reason. On the turning away From the pale and downtrodden And the words they say Which we wont understand Dont accept that whats happening Is just a case of others suffering Or youll find that youre joining in The turning away Its a sin that somehow Light is changing to shadow And casting its shroud Over all we have known Unaware how the ranks have grown Driven on by a heart of stone We could find that were all alone In the dream of the proud On the wings of the night As the daytime is stirring Where the speechless unite In a silent accord Using words you will find are strange And mesmerized as they light the flame Feel the new wind of change On the wings of the night No more turning away From the weak and the weary No more turning away From the coldness inside Just a world that we all must share Its not enough just to stand and stare Is it only a dream that therell be No more turning away?
