Bruce Nunnally
The New York Times has an interesting article that points out that insurance companies are increasingly denying coverage for vehicles used in performance driving school sessions. While you might assume that your vehicle is covered wherever you drive, you should be aware that this does not include racing or timed events. Now that performance driving schools are becoming more popular, insurance companies are also recognizing that these have a lot more in common with racing than they do with everyday driving. So, if you slide your CTS-V off the track and into the tire wall at performance racing class, be ready to write a check.
