Bruce Nunnally
Ok apparently this is the Cadillac of tire changers: The Ranger Products 26EX; it does most of the operation(s) for you after you insert the tire/wheel combo. This high-performance tire changer provides the easiest way to change low-profiles, run flats and alloy wheels. Designed to take on wide wheels and stubborn-to-change tires. Features an exclusive Dual Pneumatic Power Assist capable of flexing the stiffest sidewalls and a Power Tape Roller to allow easy bead lubrication and mounting. Only problem is it costs around $5K. Not sure if some special installation required. It would take a lot of tire installation charges before getting one of these is less trouble than dropping by the local tire store, but it would be fun to have in the garage. Bruce Nunnally
Oh here's a local company advertising wheel balancers on craig's list so that will save money for my dream garage kit at $915 for the wheel balancer. They also have a semi-automatic tire changer for only $2.4K, so that gets me down to $3.3K for the combo. Wonder if my Wife would notice them in the garage Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
