2008 Cadillac STS- 3.6L V6 - Fuel Filter & PCV Valve

Recommended Posts

I would appreciate if anyone could pass along whether the 2008 Cadillac STS with the 3.6 liter direct injection V6 engine has a fuel filter and PCV valve, and where they are located. Thank you!

This image is supposed to show the location for the fuel filter:

I think they are showing the underside of the passenger side of the engine compartment, but I am open to other interpretations.

PCV removal info:

1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement . (this is the technical name for the engine beauty cover)

2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the left camshaft cover.

3. Remove the PCV fresh air tube from the air inlet.

4. Remove the PCV tube bracket bolts.

5. Remove the PCV dirty air tube from the right camshaft cover.

6. Remove the PCV dirty air tube from the intake manifold.
