Cadillac Jim
You should read the OBD trouble codes before you tear into it. Most ride control problems are electrical, or are caused by leaks in the system. Yours sounds like it might be a loose connector or a fuse. Here's how to read the codes: http://www.caddyinfo.com/readingcodes.html Write them down and post them here. They will be in this format: PZM C0657 Level Control Compressor Circuit Low History The History flag will read Current for faults that are active when the codes are checked. The History codes are the car's computer "taking notes" on what it sees while you are driving. History codes stay for about three months, typically, before the computer erases them. We need them all. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
