clkeith50 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Share Posted March 12, 2008 Two days ago the fuel data display on my 1990 Fleetwood FWD went blank. About 10 minutes later, it started flashing on and off. It appeared to be showing the correct information when it was on. After disconnecting the battery to reset everything, it's working normally now. Anyone ever seen this before or have any suggestions? Logan Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 On that era of Cadillac. 4.x series engine. Lots of crazy stuff could happen with a poor engine ground. The ground is bolted to the block very near the starter. Dont just snug it up...take it apart and clean it Cadillac has a bulletin on that ground. I've seen clusters turn off and on due to that ground.
