rmac-etc
For any of those who might have spent some time on the sea (glomar-esque) or or wished for such adventure, here is a hell of a story ... perhaps you saw the picture in recent memory of the ship with 4,703 new Mazda's bound for North America on it's side in waters outside of Alaska. Well, there are people who attempt at great risk to salvage/rescue such epic challenges. Fabulous, gripping story. http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/m...3/ff_seacowboys

WarrenJ
Just a quick recap, don't know if anyone has read this, but it is worth the 20 minutes. I will not mention this again ... I read every word of it. Tragic, but fascinating. Thanks, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
ted tcb
I also read every word of it. What a shame that all those Mazda's had to be crushed due to possible future liability lawsuits. The pictures showing the size of the listing cargo ship were amazing.
