cad500kclub Posted January 28, 2004 Report Share Posted January 28, 2004 I've run into a new one and would appreciate any solutions...My '94 DeVille radio will not shut off after the 10 minute delay following ignition off. Prior to this happening, I heard what sounded like an old starter solenoid with low power to it make noise in front of dash when turning off ignition. Bruce Nunnally Posted January 28, 2004 Report Share Posted January 28, 2004 You'll need to follow the wiring diagrams for the Retained Auxiliary Power system, which is what I think the nice feature that allows 10 min of radio while I gather my gear before opening the door and stepping out in the cold is called. www.helminc.com has new manuals, or ebay often has used shop manuals.
