Rayscaddy
We have a 1995 Cadillac STS we have been working on. Code 86 continues to reappear. The car does not run rough and the inside of the transmission is very clean. Thus far, we have replaced the PCM, Transaxle pressure switch, done a trans service, replaced the torque converter selenoid and the transmission input speed sensor. We are becoming very frustrated. Anybody have any ideas on what the magic bullet could be? Any help would be appreciated !! Thanks.

Also check for bad grounds, chase those components back and see if a common ground exists Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
