Bruce Nunnally
Have a woodgrain shift knob on the way off ebay No idea why they pictured it upside down. Hopefully it will clean up well. The shop manual suggests these are easy to change. Set the parking brake. Remove the shift boot from the console trim plate by lightly prying up on the rear of the shift control boot. Lift the shift control boot up over the shift knob. Remove the shift knob retaining screw. Lift the shift control boot and knob assembly off of the shift lever Hopefully the interior will look like this shot soon. I have the wood steering wheel, but have not gotten it installed yet. Bruce Nunnally
Here is a shot of the woodgrain shift knob installed: Obviously I need to clean my carpets/mats. The shift knob looks great, and was very easy to install. The shift knob and boot are all one piece, and attach via a single screw. The boot is held in place by tabs on the back end, and legs on the front end. The previous shifter was all black leather.
