Bruce Nunnally
Cadillac's Sept 2007 sales were up over Sales for Sept in 2006. Leading the charge were sales of 6,416 CTS models, 4,776 DTS, 1,612 STS's and 111 XLR's. The newly redesigned CTS was expected to be a hot seller, and reached dealer showrooms in late August. Cadillac cars were up 7.6% over 2006. Buick sold 8,505 Lucernes, up 8.5% over 2006 Sept Sales. There continues to be a good market for the DTS/Lucerne models. Maybe rename Buick LaSalle and market it as the LaSalle LuCerne? On the Truck side Cadillac sold 3,505 Escalades, 1,542 Escalade ESV's and 781 Escalade EXT's. SRX sold a solid 1,655 units. Luxury Truck sales continue to sustain good numbers even in the face of high gas prices.
