John Wicz
Hi, Has anyone replaced (or found a replacement for) the motor on the massaging lumbar assembly? GM only sells the whole assembly ($265 at Gmotors: "DRIVER SEAT LUMBAR SUPPORT (12493065)"). Seems like a bit much when only the motor (which is held on with 2 screws) is bad. TIA, --John

TIA, --John John, You could try to get the specs of the motor and then check with a local electric supply place. I have bought "GENERIC" electrical motors for several different applications. As long as the electrical specs and the bolt holes are the same.... shouldn't make much difference what brand name they are.

growe3
Isn't it still under warranty? If so it should be covered by the dealer. -George Drive'em like you own 'em. - ....................04 DTS............................
