ddstotler
The panel guages blink on and off, 99% of the time they are off, or blinking silly numbers. The climate control panel does not work, nor does the fuel indicator. There is a lower case 'd' or 'c' in place of the nortmal readings. Is there a module that needs replacing? Cadillac Jim
What are the numbers that the display shows? They are likely on-board diagnostic device trouble codes (OBD DTC's). Your car has OBD I and this information makes diangosis by online contact with experienced people possible. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. Jim, the numbers and indicators are as if every part of the display is on and constantly changing. The temp will read 145 deg. The fuel will say 'E'. Miles per gal. will be 0.0. or, it may read 'F' when there is only a few gallons. The AC service light will blink on and off as well.
