adallak Posted April 21, 2004 Report Share Posted April 21, 2004 Well, the car did not start this morning and the DIC shwed "wait 3 minutes". Waiting and restarting did not help, cleaning the key and the lock did not halp either. I took off the ignition lock and the wire iside appeared to fall apart. I could fix it but instead I just cut the wire under the stering column and shorte it with my spare key. I'll replace it with a appropriate resistor when I get a chance. Just a quick fix if you do not have ab ohmmeter or resistor handy use your SPARE KEY AS A RESISTOR!
